A. Finance a whole Project
- Identify a project – search database by country/region and/or by STREAM.
- See the funding needs for the project and projects deliverables.
- Self-Reliant requests a five year commitment.
- Contact Self-Reliant to set it up.
- Get monthly summary updates on the NGO and project and detailed six monthly updates.
- If you want to visit – Self-Reliant can set that up too.
B. Finance part of the Project
- Same as above
- Financing provided should be at least 1/3 of the project needs.


C. Invest in a Mutual Stream Fund
- Each of the five streams has a Mutual Stream Fund.
- Identify the fund and invest in it.
- Self-Reliant requests a five year commitment
- You are notified when the fund has enough financing to support a project and gets invested.
- You get all the project reports for that project
D.Donor Advised Funds (needs separate agreement – please call Self-Reliant)
- Like a Savings account
- Make contribution to your fund whenever and get tax exemption.
- Identify the projects you want to finance as and when desired.
- Periodic reporting provided to you about the your fund.
E. Make a contribution to the General Fund
- Majority of contributions used for projects
- No yearly commitment

Self Reliant loves volunteers. Kind of areas volunteers are desired include :
- Helping in events, including catering
- Helping in maintaining websites
- Helping institutions Self-Reliant helps
- Others
